📋 Description

• Own and maintain the voter education repository end to end • Build initial voter education content for every program state and manage research, fact-checking, approval, and synchronization into Rally • Build and own the voter education calendar covering registration deadlines, mail ballot dates, early voting windows, and Election Day • Serve as the source of truth on voting rules and processes for staff and participants • Track changes in law, procedure, and litigation and translate official guidance into plain language • Review and approve voting-related scripts, FAQs, saved replies, and participant-facing content • Vet and maintain approved external voter-protection resources • Create and oversee FAQs, one-pagers, and other participant-facing voter education materials • Act as voter protection captain in Slack during live events, coordinating support and handling escalations • Own intake and escalation for participant voter education questions, including contacting county election offices • Partner with participant experience, partnerships, events, and content teams on curriculum, inbox templates, and staff training • Adapt responsibilities as the program moves from build phase to peak season

🎯 Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in digital organizing, voter protection, voter education, research, election administration, or voting rights advocacy • Working knowledge of voting rights law and know-your-rights protocols • Ability to read statutes or official election guidance and translate them accurately into plain language • Experience managing content in a CMS or similar tool • Comfort working in structured content systems, trackers, and databases • Demonstrated judgment and precision, including willingness to verify and escalate rather than guess • Strong plain-language writing skills • Experience training, coaching, or serving as an escalation point for frontline staff or volunteers • Comfort serving as a go-to Slack resource during fast-moving live events and making judgment calls under time pressure • Comfort building a new function and designing systems • Strong commitment to non-partisan accuracy in voter education • Access to a computer, reliable internet, and a quiet workspace for live event support • Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during high-volume periods • Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus • Existing relationships with or experience working alongside voter protection or state voting rights organizations are a plus
