📋 Description

• Assess internal and external risks and opportunities, synthesize facts, analysis, and judgment, make recommendations, and drive business decisions • Collaborate with the Strategy team and organizational leaders on the Strategic Plan and its execution • Scope and plan projects by defining goals, objectives, milestones, project plans, risks, and metrics • Lead cross-functional projects that drive financial and operational performance, manage change, and track milestones and key metrics • Conduct end-to-end qualitative and quantitative problem solving and develop recommendations that drive decisions and action • Analyze and synthesize data into clear recommendations • Leverage agentic AI to reach more robust answers faster • Create clear and compelling internal and external communications using inverse pyramid communication • Act as a thought partner to the Chief Strategy Officer, crew, and other leaders • Collaborate with leaders across functions to assess opportunities and implement decisions • Drive change and continuously improve Vital Farms’ ways of working

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree required • 7+ years of total experience in Strategy or related work • Prior experience at a top-tier Strategy Consulting firm, in-house strategy team, or comparable function such as FP&A, Corporate Development, or banking • Strong preference for a combination of consulting and in-house experience • Experience leading and developing others preferable • Ability to travel 10–20% for company meetings, team offsites, employee onboarding trips, and other business needs • Highly analytical, with ability to move quickly from data analysis to synthesis to recommendations • Agentic AI experience or acumen • Ability to test and rapidly scale new approaches and continuously improve processes • Experience leading cross-functional teams across all levels • Executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills, including inverse pyramid communications • Stellar meeting management skills • Mastery of PowerPoint and Excel • Ability to operate strategically and tactically in ambiguous, agile environments • Strong change management skills • Team-player mindset, ownership mentality, openness to diverse viewpoints, and willingness to have honest conversations
