• Report directly to the Chief Services Officer • Work collaboratively with clients to plan, install, implement, and maintain hardware and software solutions • Design, manage, and oversee client projects and tasks • Configure, build, document, test, modify, and maintain software applications • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct application problems involving hardware and software • Collaborate with clients’ technical teams to maintain continuity of process • Conduct system enhancements, new features, builds, upgrades, quarterly updates, and optimizations • Analyze business requirements and translate them into system requirements • Perform system customizations, including alerts/hard stops, data integration, order generation, document-entry automation, and workflow enforcement • Participate in developing tools and training for end-user competencies • Plan and test clinical upgrades, patches, and enhancements before production deployment • Establish concise ad-hoc reports • Determine and adjust project priorities with the Chief Services Officer and clients • Perform or oversee ongoing maintenance of information systems and interfaces • Provide technical support, information, and training to clients • Solve client problems and maintain good relationships with clients and their staff • Perform other tasks and projects assigned by the CEO or Chief Services Officer
• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) • Medical Technologist Degree (e.g., MT, MLT, MLS, etc.) (Preferred) • Minimum 3 years of experience in Clinical Processes (Required) • Minimum 2 years of experience in Laboratory Information Systems (Required) • Minimum 3 years of Data Innovations Instrument Manager experience, including Rules (Preferred) • Knowledge of clinical standards, documentation methods and existing practices • Demonstrated technical skills and aptitudes related to all computer related activities • Demonstrated ability to understand all laboratory related computer applications, and the ability to learn and apply new applications and programs • Ability to handle confidential information • Ability to work independently but also as part of a collaborative team • Ability to work around infectious biological specimens, caustics, toxic chemicals and irritants appropriately and safely • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational skills • Experience with Microsoft 365 • Ability to work remotely • Ability to travel up to 25% • HIPAA confidentiality compliance
