📋 Description

• Lead all aspects of the JULY ERISA department • Oversee production of ERISA projects • Provide technical support and manage ERISA team members • Serve as the primary escalation point for ERISA technical matters • Monitor ERISA production for accurate and timely completion of plan documents, amendments, notices, DOL or IRS audits, QDRO projects, and EPCRS projects • Establish processes and schedules for required plan restatements and interim amendment projects • Monitor new ERISA laws and regulations and implement operational changes with team members • Escalate complex ERISA matters involving controlled groups, mergers and acquisitions, EPCRS, and plan documents and amendments • Manage ERISA team members to ensure KPIs are met • Back up the Vice President of Plan Consulting on escalations and support the JULY Sales Team and other issues as needed • Maintain documentation on client projects and responses within JULY's software

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ Years of Qualified Retirement Plan Document / ERISA technical experience • Ability to explain complex ERISA and EPCRS matters clearly and understandably • Professional and concise verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency • Exceptionally organized; able to juggle multiple projects with minimal oversight • In-depth, hands-on experience preparing and reviewing legal plan documents • Client-focused, accountable, credible, and trustworthy attitude • Positive problem-solving attitude • Bachelor's Degree listed as a want • ERPA, Attorney, CPA, or other designation that can represent clients with the IRS is a plus • Ability to handle difficult conversations positively and professionally
