• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Junior Achievement USA’s enterprise infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, hybrid environments, networking, identity and access management, hosting, storage, backup and recovery, monitoring, and related technologies • Administer, configure, implement, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain infrastructure systems and services • Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex or service-impacting issues • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and recurrence-reduction measures • Ensure infrastructure reliability, availability, scalability, security, and performance through monitoring, capacity planning, backup and recovery, system administration, and continuous improvement • Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, system inventories, technical procedures, standards, and operational runbooks • Automate recurring infrastructure and operational processes using PowerShell, Azure automation capabilities, and other tools • Establish repeatable practices for reliability, monitoring, change management, service delivery, documentation, and infrastructure maturity • Evaluate emerging technologies including Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot • Lead, coach, and develop infrastructure team members through feedback, accountability, and knowledge sharing • Partner with the Vice President on infrastructure strategy, technology roadmaps, modernization, architecture, investments, scalability, risk, and operational planning • Monitor infrastructure spending and support budget planning, cloud cost optimization, and cost-saving opportunities • Partner with vendors and service providers and maintain performance against service-level expectations • Communicate technical considerations, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Stay current on infrastructure technologies, cloud capabilities, automation practices, and industry trends
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience supporting and managing enterprise IT infrastructure, including significant hands-on technical responsibility • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience within Microsoft Azure environments • Demonstrated expertise across Azure networking, virtual machines, storage, identity and access management, monitoring, backup and recovery, governance, and cost management • Experience administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Active Directory, and cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and contribute to incident resolution and root cause analysis • Experience using PowerShell or comparable scripting and automation tools • Experience leading, coaching, or developing technical professionals • Ability to operate autonomously, take ownership, and prioritize effectively • Strong verbal and written communication skills and technical documentation experience • Experience working with vendors, service providers, and SLAs • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (desired) • Relevant Microsoft Azure certification, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (desired) • Project management or Agile certification, such as PMP or Certified ScrumMaster (desired) • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, or related AI-enabled productivity and automation capabilities (desired) • Experience contributing to enterprise digital transformation, cloud migration, or IT modernization initiatives (desired) • Experience with cloud cost optimization, IT financial management, vendor contract negotiation, or additional automation, orchestration, monitoring, and infrastructure management platforms (desired) • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future • Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and throughout employment
