📋 Description

• Scope new clients’ accounting needs, review systems and records, and define work needed for a successful start • Conduct accounting setup and cleanup activities • Document client processes and prepare the service team for a smooth handoff • Establish technology integrations and connections for various third-party client platforms • Act as the primary client contact during the first few months • Facilitate meetings and follow up on action items • Earn client cooperation, gather required information, and follow up on missing items • Keep clients informed while maintaining deadlines • Perform standard accounting work when the team is short-handed • Coordinate client onboarding from initial conversations through handoff to the service team • Shorten client startup time without sacrificing accuracy or a positive client experience

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred • 1+ year project management experience or equivalent training is preferred • Confidence working in various technology platforms • Comfortable managing competing priorities and delegation • High comfort level engaging with clients and internal teammates • Analytical thinker skilled in creative problem solving • Experience working in a remote environment with a distributed team • Reside in a state where the company is established: Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, or Minnesota
