📋 Description

• Scope new clients’ accounting needs, review their systems and records, and define the work needed for a successful start • Conduct accounting setup and cleanup activities, document client processes, and prepare the service team for a smooth handoff • Establish technology integrations and connections for various third-party client platforms • Act as the primary point of contact for the client during their first few months, including meeting facilitation and action item follow-ups • Earn clients’ cooperation, gather required information, and follow up on missing items while keeping clients informed • Pitch in with standard accounting work when the team is short-handed • Shorten the time it takes to get clients up and running without sacrificing accuracy or a positive client experience

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred • 1+ year project management experience or equivalent training is preferred • Confidence working in various technology platforms • Comfortable with managing competing priorities and delegation • A high comfort level engaging with clients and internal teammates • Analytical thinker skilled in creative problem solving • Experience working in a remote environment with a distributed team • Reside in a state we are established: Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, or Minnesota
