📋 Description
• Ensure critical data is entered into the orders appropriately to obtain proper reimbursement • Communicate issues causing billing delays to the appropriate teams • Interact with clients to resolve any billing issues • Ensure insurance billings are current and within the established timeframe • Assure all billing-related policies and procedures are understood and adhered to • Review and complete daily/weekly reports to achieve billing goals • Assist in the development of training materials when requested • Advise if specific receivables are to be qualified as refunds, adjustments or write-offs • Adhere to Pledge of Confidentiality
🎯 Requirements
• High School Diploma required (Bachelor's degree preferred or six years equivalent experience) • 5 years of experience in the medical billing field • Strong background in federal and state laws and requirements relating to Healthcare policy • Strong communication skills and attention to detail • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
