📋 Description

• Support sales and credit functions as part of a relationship team • Work with relationship managers to create pitch materials for prospects and clients • Manage lending-process functions for relationships with less than $10 million in credit commitments • Collaborate with relationship managers, loan closers and underwriters as a member of the deal team • Lead or participate in due diligence meetings to understand clients’ businesses, management teams and industry sectors • Review loan requests, determine required business documents and financial statements, and collect and upload materials to Salesforce and the bank’s secure document collection portal • Request and review financial statement spreads and prepare Return on Equity analyses • Prepare preflight memos for deal-team discussions • Enter new loan requests, renewals and modifications in nCino and submit requests for underwriting • Review final credit approval memos and coordinate with loan closers or outside counsel on loan documentation • Review loan documentation for consistency with credit approval memos • Ensure waiver, amendment and extension requests are approved and properly saved • Work with the Credit Surveillance team on interim and annual relationship reviews • Perform annual portfolio data-integrity reviews across systems including Salesforce, nCino, Hogan and LIQ • Identify deteriorating credits and other credit concerns and communicate them to risk partners • Work with bank examiners and internal credit reviewers to validate credit quality and process integrity • Manage ongoing client-relationship portfolio activities, including collecting borrower financial statements, renewing or extending loans and lines, and remediating internal risk-rating findings • Assist in training and developing new Commercial Analysts • Comply with KeyBank policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field (required) • Minimum of 2 years of commercial banking experience, including credit structuring and analysis, sales functions, risk assessment, and knowledge of commercial banking products, services and technology (required) • Minimum of 2 years working in Credit Structuring & Financial Analysis (required) • Ability to manage workflow and complex commercial banking deals (required) • Ability to manage stress and competing priorities (required) • Minimum of 2 years working in Commercial Middle Market Credit Structuring & Financial Analysis (preferred) • 2 years Commercial Middle Market Underwriting and Financial Analysis (preferred) • Formal credit training strongly preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Applicable systems may include Salesforce, nCino and SharePoint • Ability to meet timelines and perform multiple tasks • Business acumen • Oral and written communication • Analytical thinking • Risk management • Ability to occasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license
