📋 Description

• Research and implement GEO/AEO/AIO strategies to optimize content, metadata, and page structure for AI-generated responses • Conduct regular technical audits and translate findings into scoped engineering projects with measurable impact • Build business cases for product enhancements using audience knowledge and search/AI discovery expertise • Instrument and monitor discoverability metrics across traditional search and emerging AI surfaces • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing teams to prioritize and sequence improvements • Stay current with how LLMs retrieve and cite web content and bring new techniques to the team

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience, including direct implementation • Ability to read, write, and ship code; Go and React preferred • Ability to own implementation end-to-end and deliver SEO/GEO/AEO/AIO improvements • Working knowledge of how AI-powered search and answer engines retrieve, rank, and cite content • Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, and Ahrefs • Experience creating actionable insights using analytics tools, including Google Analytics • Proven cross-cultural competency and ability to adopt inclusive perspectives, attitudes, and behaviors • Motivation by Khan Academy’s mission • Experience at a content-heavy or edtech platform, international SEO, and Generative AI/LLM product experience are nice to have
