📋 Description

• Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding • Develop or modify moderately complex information systems • Work with internal and external stakeholders on functional and technical troubleshooting and testing • Prepare detailed specifications for program development • Develop and document modifications to business applications • Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain programs • Collaborate with cross-IT teams and application owners to troubleshoot and resolve application issues • Apply technical knowledge of application systems analysis and programming to business functions • Perform quality assurance reviews • Direct and monitor team members' work • Support project completion and user satisfaction • Plan, coordinate, and lead projects or break-fix efforts • Perform other duties as assigned • Instruct, direct, check, and mentor lower-level systems analysis and programming personnel

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) • Ability to obtain business requirements and translate them into detailed specifications • Ability to design/build, develop, test, and perform data validation • Ability to manage competing demands in a changing work environment • Ability to learn new technologies and contribute improvements to existing systems • Ability to work on projects or work groups and improve workflows • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures • Ability and willingness to help supervise and develop less experienced staff • Ability to lead projects with team members from own and other areas • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required • Six (6) years of systems analysis/programming activities in a business environment is required
