📋 Description

• Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities for a group or section • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare time and cost estimates • Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs • Define, configure, and administer application controls • Work closely with application development teams to implement controls and enhancements • Design, develop, implement, and document requested enhancements and procedures • Identify untapped functionality and communicate future opportunities to end users • Plan, schedule, and implement projects using project management methodology • Assist in projecting software and hardware requirements • Assign personnel to projects and direct activities • Manage programmer teams, mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and exercise hiring and termination authority • Manage vendor engagements and supplemental support agreements or consultants • Consult with departmental stakeholders regarding systems and database operations, procedures, and enhancements • Coordinate with other IT areas to support products • Prepare activity and progress reports • Perform other duties as assigned

• Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures • Strong analytical skills to resolve complex issues • Manages competing demands in a changing work environment; able to anticipate and work around delays or unexpected events • Ability to learn new technologies and work with teams to provide input on improvements to existing systems • Ability to collaborate and gain cooperation in team-oriented environment • Ability to work on projects or work groups, creating a collaborative and respectful team environment and improving workflows • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills • Bachelor's degree required • Seven (7) years systems analysis/programming experience in a business environment is required
