📋 Description

• Lead data and analytics strategies spanning multiple balanced teams and complex cross-functional initiatives • Guide engineers and managers to promote strong data literacy • Enable cross-functional teams to identify problem statements and analysis opportunities before experiments or testing • Independently analyze complex data sources to determine value and use for specific problem statements • Acquire and compile structured and unstructured data from disparate sources and verify quality, accuracy, and reasonableness • Create data visualizations for data exploration and translate analytic insights into actionable solutions for business partners and leaders • Expand technical knowledge and solicit feedback to improve usability of the enterprise data platform • Align and deliver integrated solutions with analytics teams outside Kohl’s Technology department • Collaborate with BIE leaders to develop, document, and share best practices and inform strategic and tactical decisions • Oversee processes for attracting, retaining, developing, and coaching associates across multiple balanced teams • Perform additional assigned tasks

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Qlik, including building interactive dashboards and visualizations for non-technical stakeholders • Ability to communicate and convey complex technical information clearly to all types of audiences • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcome challenges in data analysis • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and work closely with stakeholders from different business units to promote data-driven decision-making • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with strong attention to detail • Experience leading more than 1 team of individual contributors and managers • Ability to lead and coach engineers and managers across multiple teams, championing a lean product mindset and outcome-driven execution • Experience supporting advanced analytics and A/B testing/experimentation measurement • Undergraduate degree (BA/BS) in an analytic/quantitative field (preferred) • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant professional experience in a data analysis role (preferred) • 3+ years of formal managerial or leadership experience in analytics or retail organizations (preferred) • Experience querying data using SQL and programming with Python and R • Experience using cloud data warehouses including Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, etc. • Experience building enterprise-grade data visualizations using Qlik or Looker, with understanding of semantic data modeling design • Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as Gemini for conversational analytics dashboards or reporting workflow automation • Experience in aggregate and semantic data modeling design for reporting
