📋 Description

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations • Provide on-call service, including after-hours support, as part of a rotation • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site • Perform post-repair audits to verify safety features are functional • Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers • Consult with customers on repair and safety issues and recommend material-handling improvements • Produce electronic documentation using company tools and obtain customer signatures • Stay current on OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and HMI industry codes and regulations • Complete service reports and required documents accurately and promptly • Communicate with the Field Operations Manager and Service Coordinator according to established practices • Maintain company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets • Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles and report deficiencies to the supervisor • Follow established safety rules, procedures, and customer guidelines • Participate in monthly safety meetings • Collaborate with clients and facility directors to meet service needs across the United States • Perform other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma required • Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred, or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience • Minimum one (1) year of experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair • Some electronic experience is beneficial but not necessary • Prior crane experience is beneficial but not required • Valid driver's license and good driving record required and must be maintained • Must be willing to work off the ground • Ability to work varied overtime as needed by customers • Availability for on-call service office rotation and after-hours support • Ability to travel and work out of town occasionally • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs., daily lift up to 50 lbs., lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally, and lift 100 lbs. on a rare basis • Ability to frequently climb, balance, stoop/crouch, and reach overhead • Ability to occasionally push, pull, kneel, and crawl • Ability to work inside approximately 90% and outside approximately 10% of the time • Willingness to work in heat, cold, noise, and at heights • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
