📋 Description

• Work closely with sales teams to provide administrative sales support • Assist customers with pre-sale inquiries and order fulfillment • Process and manage customer purchase orders and enter orders at the appropriate location • Coordinate purchase orders with plant locations, reload yards, procurement, and logistics to meet customer due dates • Comply with SOX standards for accurate documentation • Handle telephone inquiries from customers • Provide superior customer service through proactive solutions • Complete monthly reconciliation of reload yard inventory • Provide coverage while other inside sales representatives are out of the office • Follow procedures established by Koppers Credit and Finance Departments • Visit plants occasionally to assist with physical inventories and training • Support customer restoration efforts during storms and emergencies by entering orders and assisting with restoration • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing or related field preferred • 1–3 years of experience in customer service or inside sales • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to analyze, read, and write general business reports • Basic knowledge of financial reports • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers • Strong team player • High attention to detail • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products • Reliable Wi-Fi for the remote position • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks • Self-starter with the ability to work independently • Willingness to travel 5%
