📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable, immutable, and distributed systems focused on data streaming and backend services using functional Scala • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to build and deliver robust cloud-based solutions using AWS infrastructure and modern development practices • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code • Contribute to an engineering culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement • Solve complex problems and push technical boundaries • Build high-quality products that delight clients and thrive in production environments • Work across the technology stack and deepen technical expertise

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software application development • 4+ years of hands-on experience with functional programming, such as Scala, Haskell, Clojure, or Common Lisp • 2+ years of experience working with AWS, including services like DynamoDB • Bachelor’s Degree; in lieu of a degree, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college, in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role • Familiarity with the ZIO framework is a bonus • Prior experience in fintech or banking environments is a bonus • 4+ years working with open-source web technologies is a bonus • 2+ years of experience in performance tuning and monitoring is a bonus • 1+ years working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling is a bonus • Hands-on experience optimizing high-scale server systems is a bonus • AWS Developer or Architect Certification is a bonus
