📋 Description

• Architect and design cloud solutions for Epic applications to ensure high performance, scalability, and security • Lead migration of Epic systems and applications to AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms • Collaborate with Epic EHR specialists and IT teams to align cloud architecture with Epic’s technical and business requirements • Provide consulting services to clients transitioning from on-premises solutions to cloud-based Epic systems • Oversee cloud infrastructure for Epic systems, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and performance • Manage cloud-native technologies, load balancing, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solutions • Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud environments for cost efficiency and performance • Implement cloud security measures protecting patient data and ensuring HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare regulatory compliance • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis • Lead and mentor cloud engineering teams • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Epic with other healthcare applications and systems • Create technical documentation and diagrams using tools such as Visio and draw.io • Stay current with industry trends, cloud technologies, and Epic solutions • Innovate workflows, automate processes, and optimize cloud infrastructures for healthcare clients

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with Epic ECSA Certification • Deep understanding of Epic systems and supporting infrastructure components, such as Hyperspace, Hyperspace Web, MyChart, Care Everywhere, Interconnect, Epic printing, Kuiper • Expertise with Microsoft Windows server administration, DNS, Active Directory, and Group Policy • Experience with virtual apps and desktops, such as Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops/DaaS, Omnissa Horizon, and/or Azure Virtual Desktop • Knowledge of load-balancing technologies, such as Citrix NetScaler and Big IP F5 • Public Cloud Certification/Experience, such as AWS and Azure • Experience leading Epic technical implementations and providing cloud-based solutions • Experience creating technical documentation, system diagrams, and integration with third-party software applications • Strong knowledge of network protocols and healthcare IT operations • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, computer science, or a related field • 10+ years of experience with Epic, especially in Epic client-server administration • Proven success in multiple project implementations and a history of delivering cloud-based Epic solutions • Ability to present project ideas, solutions, and results to clients and stakeholders • Proficiency with MS Office tools, including Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Excel, and SharePoint
