📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and qualify new or existing suppliers, including international suppliers • Develop and execute supplier engagement strategies during MAC capacity expansion and production ramp-up • Assess supplier manufacturing processes, quality systems, and technical capability for missile production requirements • Lead early supplier engagement for manufacturability and robust quality planning • Support capability development and process improvements for long-term production growth • Provide technical and strategic leadership for supplier quality performance, quality planning, risk management, and continuous improvement • Use data-driven methodologies and statistical tools to strengthen supplier capability, reduce variation, and prevent defects • Apply advanced quality engineering principles throughout the supplier lifecycle • Conduct supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies • Develop supplier quality plans, process controls, and inspection strategies • Participate in MRB, change review boards, and configuration control activities • Lead complex supplier investigations and ensure effective SCAR closure • Travel approximately 50% domestically and internationally

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant quality experience; or Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of prior related quality experience; or, in lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of prior related quality experience • Valid driver’s license • Current passport needed for approximately 50% domestic/international travel • Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance • Aerospace materials and manufacturing process expertise • Supplier qualification experience • Experience with composites, EPDM elastomers, phenolic materials, or specialty chemicals • Experience with Metal Case and Flowforming processes • Experience with precision machined components • Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and AS9145 • Six Sigma Certification preferred • Previous MRB experience preferred • Experience supporting missile systems or defense aerospace programs preferred
