📋 Description

• Serve as a Supply Chain/Material Management liaison for business unit programs and new business development initiatives • Represent procurement on Integrated Program Teams and drive cross-functional resolution of material-related issues • Develop supply chain strategies, plans, and processes aligned with overall Program Management plans • Act as the customer interface for supply chain program activities • Assemble and sometimes lead material requirements, material budgets, and supply chain deliverables for assigned programs • Develop and deliver monthly material cost forecasts and quarterly Estimate at Completion projections • Lead cross-functional material teams and collaborate with suppliers, supply chain leadership, program management, functional leaders, and customers • Manage time and resources across multiple programs and prioritize critical-path activities • Develop and execute supply chain strategies for development and production proposals • Drive affordability initiatives and supplier performance improvement programs • Escalate and resolve material-related issues, risks, and roadblocks • Support negotiation of subcontracts with critical suppliers and assist with strategic supplier contract negotiations • Develop supplier baseline program plans with budget and schedule baselines • Prepare and deliver presentations to peers, customers, suppliers, and senior management • Serve as the SC/MM representative and customer-facing point of contact for supply chain material program matters • Travel up to 10% to other facilities and supplier locations nationwide

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant supply chain experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related supply chain experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related supply chain experience • Knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, assembly and ATP processes • Ability to evaluate plans, processes and results of the supporting team using technical knowledge and experience • Working knowledge of project management methods in the defense acquisition environment, including program planning, integrated master scheduling, budgeting and earned value management • Ability to implement product design and development stage-gate processes • Experience leading, mentoring, reviewing, and providing constructive feedback to team members • Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and adjust plans in real time • Ability to travel up to 10% to other facilities and supplier locations nationwide
