📋 Description

• Provide logistical support to internal and external partners • Coordinate delivery to and return of materials from engineers across North America • Communicate with SMA engineers and customers by phone and email regarding spare parts, deliveries, and material returns • Track shipments in transit, provide proactive updates, and respond to delays or exceptions • Work cross-functionally with purchasing, transportation, third-party logistics partners, the regional competency center, and field service staff • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure orders are picked, packed, staged, and ready for shipment on time • Archive and maintain the field service database, including customer data, service reports, and photographs • Handle shipment discrepancies, damages, lost freight, and delivery problems with carriers and customers • Prepare data for weekly reports, including inverter repairs and inventory consumption • Assist with cycle counting and annual inventory processes • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education required • Associate degree preferred • At least 3 years of experience in an administrative or support role • Ability to work consistently from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific • Prior experience in a supply chain, logistics, or warehouse environment strongly preferred • Knowledge of supply chain functions, including procurement, warehousing, and transportation • Proficiency in English, written and verbal • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel • Attention to detail and elevated accuracy • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively • Dependable attendance and consistent follow-through • Ability to perform required physical activities, including occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Must not require current or future employment visa sponsorship
