📋 Description

• Create or revise Operational Specification Documents to define client requirements for clinical studies • Create or revise customized test requisitions, laboratory manuals, and collection kit specifications • Serve as a project contact with Sponsors and Contract Research Organizations to maintain communication and timelines • Attend internal and external calls as a Subject Matter Expert for Project Initiation • Provide status updates to Project Management and Client Services leadership on setup progress • Translate client requirements into actionable steps for problem-solving and issue resolution • Interpret project-specific budgets • Interface with internal functional departments to assist with database setup and communicate study needs • Liaise with colleagues to confirm completion of setup-related tasks • Assist with project-specific training for internal staff • Mentor and train new team members • Create or oversee training materials, templates, job aids, and SOPs • Perform additional related tasks supporting departmental and organizational goals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university with minimum 3 years of setup-related and/or project management experience • Alternatively, associate's degree (A.S.) and 5–6 years of central laboratory or related clinical experience, including at least 3 years of setup-related and/or project management experience • Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the listed education and experience • Experience in customer service • Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills • Clinical Research, Central Lab, and/or Project Management experience outside of LabConnect will be considered • Excellent attention to detail, planning, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills • Strong listening and verbal comprehension skills, including translating client needs to team members • Ability to make well-thought-out decisions and adapt to changing environments and requirements • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Ability to adhere to established timelines, processes, and procedures • Customer service and client relationship management skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures • Ability to write business correspondence and procedure manuals • Ability to present information and respond to managers’ and clients’ questions • Ability to perform calculations and manage budgets • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to clinical-trial budget management and metrics analysis • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions • Ability to perform prolonged computer-based desk work and use headphones for conference calls • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, and email • Minimal travel required
