📋 Description

• Complete the required orientation and scoring calibration training • Independently review an assigned set of Request for Application submissions • Score each application against the approved rubric and review procedures • Write clear comments identifying each application's strengths and concerns • Submit complete evaluations by set deadlines • Join calibration, clarification and panel consensus meetings as needed • Revise scoring rationale on request so it applies criteria clearly and consistently • Disclose potential conflicts of interest, keep applicant information confidential and remain impartial • Work independently under the direction of a program director • No supervisory duties; other duties may be assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, ideally in education, psychology, social work, public health or a related field • At least 2 years of professional work experience • Must live and work in California • Own computer and reliable high-speed internet connection • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, with close attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication • Strong organization: able to manage several tasks at once, prioritize and meet competing deadlines • Self-directed and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision • Nice to have: experience reviewing grants, proposals or applications using a scoring rubric • Nice to have: background in behavioral health, community programs or public funding • Nice to have: experience with project management, group facilitation or strategic planning
