📋 Description

• Lead the continued development and improvement of Lantana's contracts and compliance function by establishing and enhancing policies, procedures, controls, templates, and other tools • Oversee and administer the full lifecycle of company contracts and subcontracts, including drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, interpreting, and administering contractual documents • Own internal contract reviews and identify inaccuracies, ambiguous or unfavorable terms, missing or unnecessary clauses and flow-downs, compliance obligations, and business risks • Resolve contract issues through clear proposed language and negotiation, escalating material business decisions or risks for executive approval • Lead contract negotiations and represent Lantana's interests with stakeholders • Review federal solicitations to identify contractual requirements, compliance issues, proposal risks, and develop OCI proposal volumes and mitigation strategies • Lead subcontract solicitations, subcontract negotiations, and contractual aspects of cost and price analyses with Finance, Business Development, and project leadership • Research and interpret the FAR, agency supplements, statutes, and other applicable regulations • Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into practical updates, guidance, and implementation actions • Serve as the company's compliance lead by overseeing the compliance program and delivering training and guidance • Supervise, mentor, and develop the Contracts Administrator and contracts staff • Collaborate with Executive Leadership, Business Development, Finance, Human Resources, Project Management, IT and Security, and Technical Teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible contracts experience while employed by a federal-government contractor • At least 5 years of recent, substantial hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and administering complex federal contracts and related agreements • At least 3 years of experience leading a contracts function and supervising contracts professionals • Experience with GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contracts • Experience managing the full lifecycle of federal prime contracts and subcontracts, including Firm-Fixed-Price, Time-and-Materials, and Cost-Reimbursable agreements • Extensive knowledge of the FAR and applicable agency supplements • Ability to perform comprehensive reviews of high-volume, complex agreements and resolve business risks • Exceptional business judgment, analytical, drafting, critical-thinking, and negotiation skills • Exceptional communication skills • Intellectual curiosity, initiative, and strong organizational skills • Ability to supervise, mentor, and develop contracts professionals • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 • Candidate must reside in the United States • Preferred: Master's degree and/or Juris Doctor degree • Preferred: Professional certification for contracts, such as CFCM, CPCM, or CCCM • Preferred: Contracts experience supporting a small or mid-sized federal-government contractor • Preferred: Knowledge of employment law, corporate governance, intellectual property, data rights, software licensing, privacy, information security, insurance, and commercial legal concepts
