📋 Description

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications distributing high-value information to customers • Develop backend services and APIs using Kotlin/Java, Spring, and related technologies • Build modern frontend experiences using React, Vite, and TypeScript • Apply component architecture, state management, asynchronous data-fetching, accessibility, and render-performance practices • Work with relational and NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch, and large datasets • Participate in Agile development, including sprint planning, design sessions, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality client experiences • Contribute to code reviews, technical design, engineering standards, and team-practice improvements • Use AI to understand codebases, research technologies, plan implementations, write and modify code, develop tests, debug, refactor, and automate repetitive work • For senior-level candidates, own systems from design through production, diagnose distributed-system problems, and mentor engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software development experience for mid-level candidates or 6+ years for senior-level candidates • Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals through a CS-related degree or equivalent professional experience • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java • Experience building server-side applications using Spring or an equivalent framework • Strong proficiency building React/Vite applications with TypeScript • Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, query languages, and data best practices • Knowledge of HTTP, REST, and API design and development • Familiarity with state management and asynchronous data-fetching patterns such as TanStack Query • Attention to frontend component architecture and render performance • Working knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG/ARIA • Experience with automated testing, including unit and integration/end-to-end testing • Experience with Git or other source-control software • Meaningful regular use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, or comparable coding agents • Ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated solutions • Experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, Elasticsearch, microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, Linux, Bash, or large-scale applications is preferred • Senior-level candidates: strong system-design and architectural judgment; ownership of systems through production; scalability, reliability, performance, maintainability, security, and cost evaluation; distributed-systems diagnosis; technical planning; code and design reviews; mentoring
