📋 Description

• Develop and implement advocacy initiatives in key markets, with a particular focus on Medicaid programs • Partner with local leadership to integrate advocacy priorities into broader business strategy and objectives • Track and report on legislation and regulations affecting access to care • Build and sustain relationships with legislators, regulators, payors, and industry partners • Represent LEARN at forums, conferences, and events • Keep executive management informed about developments affecting the organization • Partner with Payor Relations and RCM teams on reimbursement-related issues • Liaise with key industry groups • Lead LEARN's advocacy efforts to improve access to care for autistic individuals • Collaborate with executive management, local leadership, third-party lobbyists, regional leaders, and national and regional industry associations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in advocacy, government relations, public policy, or a closely related field • Preference for individuals with direct experience in the field of ABA • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills • Ability to translate complex policy issues into actionable advocacy strategies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to engage and collaborate effectively with clinicians, legislators, payors, and other diverse stakeholders • Track record of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously • Willingness to travel to represent LEARN in key markets and forums • Candidates must be presently eligible to work in the United States • Ability to communicate expressively and receptively, verbally and in writing • Ability to recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong
