📋 Description

• Develop and implement advocacy initiatives in key markets alongside internal stakeholders, with a particular focus on Medicaid programs • Partner with local leadership to weave advocacy priorities into broader business strategy and objectives • Track and report on legislation and regulations that could affect access to care • Build and sustain relationships with legislators, regulators, payors, and industry partners • Represent LEARN at relevant forums, conferences, and events • Keep executive management informed on developments that could impact the organization • Partner with Payor relations and RCM team on reimbursement related issues • Liaise with key industry groups • Lead company efforts to improve access to care for autistic individuals, especially clients covered by Medicaid • Serve as LEARN's primary point of contact with national and regional industry associations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in advocacy, government relations, public policy, or a closely related field • Preference for individuals with direct experience in the field of ABA • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex policy issues into actionable advocacy strategies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders — from clinicians to legislators to payors • A track record of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at once • Willingness to travel to represent LEARN in key markets and forums • Candidates must be presently eligible to work in the United States • Ability to communicate expressively and receptively, verbally and in writing • Ability to recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong
