📋 Description

• Lead LEARN Behavioral's advocacy efforts to improve access to care for autistic individuals, especially clients covered by Medicaid • Develop and implement advocacy initiatives in key markets with internal stakeholders • Partner with local leadership to integrate advocacy priorities into broader business strategy and objectives • Work with executive management, local leadership, and third-party lobbyists • Track and report on legislation and regulations affecting access to care • Build and sustain relationships with legislators, regulators, payors, and industry partners • Represent LEARN at relevant forums, conferences, and events • Keep executive management informed about developments that could impact the organization • Partner with Payor Relations and RCM teams on reimbursement-related issues • Liaise with key industry groups • Serve as LEARN's primary point of contact with national and regional industry associations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in advocacy, government relations, public policy, or a closely related field • Direct experience in the field of ABA preferred • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills • Ability to translate complex policy issues into actionable advocacy strategies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including clinicians, legislators, and payors • Track record of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously • Willingness to travel to represent LEARN in key markets and forums • Candidates must be presently eligible to work in the United States • Ability to communicate expressively and receptively, verbally and in writing • Ability to recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong
