• Manage the full lifecycle of commercial transportation accounts, including new business, renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and ongoing account servicing • Partner with Producers on renewal and account strategies, client meetings, relationship development, and changing transportation exposures • Serve as a primary client contact regarding coverage, policy, billing, certificates, and account needs • Manage transportation insurance programs including commercial auto, motor truck cargo, general liability, physical damage, umbrella/excess liability, workers’ compensation, trailer interchange, and non-trucking liability • Prepare new and renewal business applications and submissions with complete underwriting information • Gather and maintain driver, vehicle, equipment, loss history, mileage, operating radius, commodity, and exposure information • Review carrier proposals, quotes, endorsements, and policy documents for accuracy and appropriate coverage • Coordinate driver and vehicle changes, policy updates, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, premium audits, and other policy changes • Coordinate policy binding, billing inquiries, premium audits, non-renewals, and related account activities • Manage certificates of insurance and ensure compliance with policy coverage and contractual requirements • Assist with transportation filings and regulatory documentation • Collect loss information, order and review loss runs, and maintain accurate client records • Communicate significant operational or exposure changes to Producers and carrier partners • Maintain organized electronic files in Applied Epic and other agency management systems • Build relationships with transportation underwriters and carrier partners to support placement and client retention • Monitor transportation insurance market conditions, underwriting requirements, carrier appetites, and industry trends • Deliver accurate, efficient, timely, and exceptional client service
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred • Minimum of four years of Commercial Lines insurance or account management experience • Previous transportation, trucking, commercial auto, or fleet insurance account experience strongly preferred • Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance products and transportation-specific coverages and exposures • Familiarity with commercial auto, motor truck cargo, physical damage, general liability, umbrella/excess, workers’ compensation, and related insurance products • Understanding of transportation underwriting information, including driver schedules, vehicle schedules, loss history, operating radius, commodities hauled, and fleet exposures • Familiarity with transportation insurance certificates, filings, and regulatory requirements preferred • Experience with Applied Epic or a similar agency management system required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and renewal deadlines • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Ability to work independently while collaborating with Producers, underwriters, carrier partners, and internal teams • Professional, solutions-oriented mindset with commitment to exceptional client experiences
