📋 Description

• Serve as the first point of contact for technology issues and questions from internal attorneys and clients • Troubleshoot access, login, e-signature, and matter management platform issues • Escalate complex or system-level problems to engineering with context and reproduction steps • Onboard attorneys and clients to the technology stack, including account setup, permissions, and platform walkthroughs • Maintain documentation, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and SOPs • Own intake for incoming client matters and assess legal nature, complexity, urgency, client tier, subject area, and attorney availability • Ask clarifying questions and determine whether matters require attorney attention or can be handled directly • Handle minor agreement revisions, entity filings, NDA reviews, contract summaries, template population, and document organization • Draft correspondence and initial client-facing communications • Prepare matters for attorney handoff with issue summaries, relevant documents, and recommended next steps • Route attorney-required matters and help balance workload across the team • Own matter lifecycle tracking from intake through resolution • Follow up with attorneys and clients on open items, deliverables, and deadlines • Flag stalled matters, surface blockers, and drive issues to closure • Communicate matter status, timelines, next steps, and technical issues to clients • Translate legal and technical complexity into plain-language updates • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and engineering to refine support, intake, and routing workflows • Analyze matter volume, routing, resolution time, response times, and satisfaction • Support the firm’s technology-enabled commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation operations

🎯 Requirements

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred • 3–5 years of paralegal, legal operations, or closely related experience in a law firm, legal tech, or in-house legal environment • Startup or high-growth company exposure strongly preferred • Solid legal foundation across commercial contracts and general corporate matters • Excellent organizational instincts • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable managing expectations with internal teams and external clients • Comfortable being the first line of defense for technical and workflow issues • Experience with project management tools such as Notion, CRMs, or workflow automation strongly preferred • Located in Eastern Time and able to cover Eastern Time hours (7am–3pm ET), Monday–Friday • Legally authorized to work in the United States • U.S. residency required at the time of application
