📋 Description

• Monitor CMS VDC computing resources, data center networks, infrastructure bandwidth, application health, servers, and other infrastructure • Maintain system health awareness using monitoring systems • Alert system owners, stakeholders, and management about degraded system status and Severity 1 incidents • Research system problems, troubleshoot, escalate, and document corrective actions • Provide front-line service support to engineers and customers • Assist with Change Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, and Crisis Management activities • Facilitate communication using phone, email, instant messaging, and other systems • Produce and distribute timed reports • Collaborate with peers from other functional areas and share incident and event information • Coordinate and communicate with vendors • Work the base schedule of 5AM–5PM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with one Thursday monthly rotation • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent experience • Less than 2 years prior relevant experience • Fundamental IT technical experience • Basic Windows Server Administration • Basic Network/Infrastructure (Cisco) • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Collaboration skills • Strong customer service skills • Candidates supporting CMS programs must have lived in the United States at least three out of the last five years • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
