📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day waterfront execution of Navy FOTS ship, submarine, and/or combat systems installation, modernization, repair, and overhaul activities • Serve as the primary on-site interface with shipyard personnel, Government representatives, ship’s force, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders • Manage and coordinate engineering, technical, professional, skilled trade, and industrial waterfront personnel • Develop, manage, and monitor production schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements • Coordinate shipboard installation, integration, testing, maintenance, repair, and modernization across multiple workstreams and trades • Monitor production progress and identify schedule, technical, material, access, resource, and sequencing issues • Lead issue resolution and coordinate corrective actions with program management, engineering, logistics, production, shipyard, and Government stakeholders • Coordinate work sequencing, ship access, availability requirements, material readiness, and personnel resources • Conduct and support planning, drawing/schematic, production, schedule, and Government/customer status meetings; track actions through completion • Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance for safety, efficiency, and compliance • Provide leadership with status on progress, schedule performance, risks, issues, and mitigation recommendations • Support Foreign Military Sales waterfront activities and coordinate with U.S. Government and international stakeholders • Ensure compliance with shipyard, local, state, national, Navy, safety, environmental, security, quality, technical, and contractual requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of prior relevant experience managing complex projects involving USG ships, submarines, or combat systems • Experience in naval shipbuilding and overhaul in public or private shipyard environments • Experience managing a large and diverse group of professional to industrial workers • Experience managing schedules for large and complex projects • Demonstrated experience with Foreign Military Sales programs • Demonstrated experience managing logistics for geographically dispersed and/or OCONUS operating environments • Strong technical writing, editing, analytical, and information organization skills • Ability to communicate complex technical tasks clearly and concisely • Ability to work independently and manage rapidly changing priorities • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment • Willingness and ability to travel internationally and work in maritime, industrial, or forward-deployed environments, including visits onboard vessels in port • Active Secret clearance • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Current PMP Certification preferred
