📋 Description

• Perform accurate, detailed, and thorough medical billing processes • Interact with insurance plans, clinics, patients, and team members as needed • Maintain current information on correct and lawful billing practices for payers • Participate in daily revenue cycle management processes and monitor accurate, timely completion of team duties • Maintain up-to-date information on RCM processes, National SOPs, processes, and policies • Utilize available job aids, websites, programs, and resources • Support leadership with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting needs • Meet department productivity goals while maintaining quality standards • Identify and communicate system access, payer behavior, account workflow, and other RCM-related issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor • Perform other duties as needed • Collaborate with patients and office team members to ensure complete and accurate billing practices • Work independently while meeting the needs of a national organization in a virtual team environment

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required • Minimum of two years of medical facility or medical office billing experience • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Teams • Experience with automated billing systems preferred • Knowledgeable of full revenue cycle processes, with insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid • Strong attention to detail • Experience working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture • Ability to sit, stand, bend, talk, hear, and walk • Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds • Required close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, plus ability to adjust focus
