📋 Description

• Prepare and/or review complex quarterly and annual Statutory NAIC financial statements, supporting schedules, and regulatory filings • Review, analyze, and report on statutory financial statements and supporting schedules according to accounting and reporting calendars • Participate in accounting close, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and statutory reporting adjustments • Conduct financial analysis by legal entity with internal business teams • Identify and research reporting issues related to statutory accounting principles, NAIC guidance, and regulatory requirements • Support coordination of MAR control and regulatory testing • Promote and support change management and departmental or enterprise initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or financial analysis, including statutory reporting experience • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • Working knowledge of statutory accounting principles, NAIC reporting requirements, and insurance financial reporting • Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and close attention to detail • Ability to research and communicate complex reporting matters • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt quickly while meeting reporting deadlines • CPA or CPA Eligibility Certification is a nice-to-have • Work arrangement is remote for employees residing outside a commutable distance to an office location
