📋 Description

• Own identity and access engineering in Okta, including group strategy, app assignments, SSO configuration, lifecycle automation, and secure access request patterns • Run endpoint engineering across a macOS-first fleet in Workspace ONE, including provisioning, configuration baselines, patching, encryption posture, inventory hygiene, and compliance reporting • Administer Google Workspace and Slack at scale, including user lifecycle, groups, shared drives, permissions, roles, and governance • Establish governance across the SaaS estate, covering tool ownership, access, costs, and changes when employees transfer or leave • Build automation for onboarding, deprovisioning, access reporting, device compliance, and repetitive IT work • Translate security, compliance, and engineering requirements into IT controls that generate audit evidence • Serve as the technical escalation point for complex identity, access, endpoint, and internal infrastructure issues • Collaborate with Security, Engineering, People, and Finance • Support SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI audit-scope requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in IT engineering, IT operations, systems administration, endpoint engineering, or identity engineering • Experience administering Okta or a comparable identity provider as the owner, including SSO, groups, app assignments, lifecycle workflows, and access management decisions • Hands-on experience with modern MDM, Workspace ONE or equivalent, including provisioning, configuration enforcement, patching, encryption, and inventory • Strong Google Workspace administration experience • Genuine macOS endpoint depth • Experience building or meaningfully improving operational workflows, automation, reporting, or internal controls • Excellent writing skills, including clearly explaining technical decisions and documenting systems • Strong ownership and judgment; ability to prioritize under ambiguity • Willingness to remain hands-on in an individual contributor role • Ability to craft code that is fast, reliable, and practical • Ability to tackle difficult technical problems • Ability to work hard and build and ship quickly • Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts • Ability to learn new languages and tools quickly • Familiarity with security and compliance work such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, access reviews, audit evidence, or control implementation is a plus • Familiarity with EDR, disk encryption, patch compliance, vulnerability management, and access hygiene is a plus • Scripting and automation experience with Bash, Python, Google Apps Script, Okta Workflows, or raw APIs is a plus • Experience designing IT processes across time zones for globally distributed teams, including international hardware logistics, is a plus • Legal authorization to work in the US or country of residence • Must indicate whether future sponsorship support is required
