📋 Description

• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and respond to invoice, payment status, account balance, billing requirement, and accounts receivable inquiries • Monitor shared Accounts Receivable email inboxes and route or address requests promptly • Assist with daily billing activities and review onsite billing transactions before invoice generation • Prepare, distribute, and upload customer invoices through portals and electronic billing platforms • Maintain customer account records, billing contacts, remittance information, invoice delivery preferences, and billing requirements • Review and monitor customer purchase order information and expirations • Manage collections for assigned small- and mid-tier accounts through phone and email outreach • Review aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts • Research and resolve routine payment disputes, invoice discrepancies, short payments, deductions, and account questions • Issue customer statements, payment reminders, and collection correspondence • Escalate complex collection issues and significant delinquent accounts • Assist with customer payment application and cash application activities • Research unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and remittance information • Prepare aging reports, collection status updates, and other accounts receivable reporting • Maintain documentation supporting internal controls • Collaborate on improvements to billing, collections, customer service, and accounts receivable processes • Perform other assigned accounts receivable, billing, collections, and administrative duties

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, customer account management, or related accounting experience • Experience working with ERP systems, customer billing portals, and Microsoft Excel • Understanding of accounts receivable processes, collections practices, and cash application procedures • Strong customer service and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
