📋 Description

• Lead Oklo’s FERC, State PUC, and interconnection-related legal work • Represent the company in regulatory proceedings • Support interconnection agreements and processes • Monitor and engage in regulatory rulemaking • Collaborate with government affairs on legislative initiatives • Support pre-construction regulatory and zoning efforts, including environmental reviews and local permitting • Coordinate with Oklo’s nuclear regulatory team while focusing on non-nuclear energy regulatory matters • Help shape regulatory strategy for Oklo’s advanced fission power plants

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10 years of energy regulatory experience • Substantive FERC practice experience • Experience with State Public Utility Commission filings • Experience with generator interconnection processes • Experience in energy-related public policy • Experience in legislative affairs • Cross-functional collaboration experience • Detail-oriented and agile attorney • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment • Ability and motivation to tackle complex regulatory challenges
