📋 Description

• Lead Material Bank’s data privacy strategy and compliance efforts, including CCPA, GDPR, and emerging privacy regimes • Advise on product development and user agreements • Support incident response • Guide marketing on consumer protection and advertising requirements • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements • Build legal operations infrastructure • Leverage AI and legal technology to scale the legal function • Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, People, and other teams • Enable rapid business growth while managing legal and regulatory risk

🎯 Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school • Active bar membership • At least 5 years of relevant legal experience • In-house work at a high-growth technology company • Strong expertise in data privacy • Strong expertise in product counseling • Strong expertise in marketing/consumer protection • Strong expertise in commercial contracts • Sound legal judgment • Adaptability • Practical, business-oriented mindset • Experience with legal operations, privacy certifications, and AI-assisted legal tools preferred
