📋 Description
• Serve as the in-house ERISA expert guiding the company’s mission to expand retirement plan access for small and mid-sized businesses • Provide real-time, practical legal guidance on ERISA, IRC, and fiduciary matters • Ensure operational compliance and translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable advice • Advise on plan sponsor and participant questions • Review disclosures and communications for compliance • Support the product team with subject matter expertise as new features are developed
🎯 Requirements
• 5–8 years of substantive ERISA experience focused on qualified retirement plans • At least two years in a law firm setting • Proven ability to advise non-legal teams in fast-paced environments • Experience with operational compliance, fiduciary rules, and product or technology-driven legal issues • Admission to the bar • Collaborative, cross-functional approach
