📋 Description

• Administer and continuously improve employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, wellness, and leave programs • Provide employees with guidance and education on benefits, leave programs, and related HR policies • Coordinate annual open enrollment, new-hire benefits education, and ongoing benefits communications • Manage benefits and leave administration, including eligibility, enrollments, claims, data accuracy, and employee support • Partner with HR, payroll, HRIS, finance, brokers, carriers, and vendors • Monitor benefits programs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and support required reporting and filings • Manage and analyze benefits data, invoices, payroll deductions, and utilization to identify trends and support cost-effective decisions • Coordinate Workers’ Compensation and leave-of-absence processes • Support benefits policies, procedures, communications, and employee wellbeing initiatives • At the Manager level, provide leadership and mentorship and contribute to benefits strategy, vendor management, and program design

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration • 2–3+ years of experience in a senior, lead, or management-level benefits role preferred • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and compliance requirements • Experience managing brokers, vendors, benefits platforms, and benefits programs • Experience analyzing benefits data and making recommendations based on trends and costs • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information • HR or benefits certification such as CEBS, CBP, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is a plus • Quiet, secure workspace with reliable high-speed internet • HIPAA-compliant handling of sensitive information
