📋 Description

• Modernize and migrate legacy web application functionality to an Angular-based architecture • Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular, RxJS, PrimeNG, HTML, and CSS • Analyze legacy code and existing functionality to preserve business requirements during migration • Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and test application code • Participate in peer code reviews and incorporate feedback • Develop and maintain unit tests • Troubleshoot and resolve development, integration, and testing defects • Integrate Angular components with Java/Spring services and REST APIs • Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Review user stories and acceptance criteria before development • Document technical solutions, development decisions, and application changes • Identify improvements to development processes, code quality, and efficiency • Share knowledge and guide less-experienced developers • Work independently and collaborate with a geographically dispersed development team

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of three years of web-based application development experience • Experience with Angular, JPA, RxJS, PrimeNG, HTML, and CSS • Experience in at least two application layers: presentation/user interface, business objects/application logic, or persistence/database connectivity and access • Understanding of multi-tier application design and development • Ability to comply with established application architecture, frameworks, and coding standards • Experience creating object-oriented applications using MVC and established design patterns • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team • Active DoD Secret clearance • Preferred: experience with Java, Java Servlets, J2EE, Spring, Legacy Struts, RESTful services, ORM, Maven, automated testing, Git or SVN, Java EE servers, Oracle and SQL/PLSQL, DevOps/DevSecOps, Agile/Scrum, user story development, and sprint backlog management • Preferred: technical or professional certifications from recognized organizations such as Oracle, CompTIA, Red Hat, or PMI • Preferred: knowledge of USMC systems, processes, and culture • Ability to learn complex legacy applications and translate functionality into Angular solutions • Strong attention to detail • Ability to adapt to changing requirements, priorities, and technical challenges • Willingness to research and adopt new technologies and development practices • Ability to mentor and support less-experienced team members • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Comfortable working independently in a full-time telework environment as part of a 6–10 member team
