📋 Description

• Build AI-powered systems that automate and improve workflows for M3 USA’s healthcare businesses • Work with non-technical business teams to understand processes and pain points • Design and implement solutions that improve business effectiveness • Use AI coding agents to rapidly build and iterate on production applications • Automate business workflows using custom tools, scripts, and integrations • Stay current with agentic coding techniques, tools, and best practices • Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and assess production suitability • Develop LLM-based applications for document processing, intelligent assistants, and data extraction • Create proof-of-concepts demonstrating AI feasibility and business value • Deploy AI applications to production and support real end users • Monitor usage, gather feedback, and iterate on deployed solutions • Translate business needs into technical requirements • Communicate progress and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders • Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and healthcare compliance requirements • Monitor and maintain deployed solutions • Manage costs and provide input on AI tools and platform selection • Work across M3 USA subsidiaries including Wake Research, PracticeMatch, and The Medicus Firm • Report to the CTO

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent work experience • Extensive hands-on experience using Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenCode, or similar AI coding agents • Built multiple applications using agentic coding and able to discuss techniques, workflows, and tradeoffs • Tangible portfolio of AI-developed projects, such as GitHub repositories, deployed demos, or production systems • Experience deploying AI-powered applications used by real end users • Understanding of operational challenges in maintaining AI systems in production • Track record of automating manual processes through custom scripts, integrations, or low-code platforms • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, web application development, SQL and databases, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, context engineering, and REST APIs • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure • Ability to learn new languages and frameworks quickly with AI assistance • Understanding of transformers, neural networks, agentic loops, and context • Ability to reason about model capabilities and limitations based on architectural understanding • Hands-on experience building agentic workflows, multi-agent systems, or AI assistants with tool use • Understanding of when to use agentic patterns versus simpler approaches • Ability to meet security, privacy, and healthcare compliance requirements
