📋 Description

• Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of subcontracts from initial negotiation and award through close-out • Draft and issue RFPs, RFQs, and bid packages to potential subcontractors • Analyze and evaluate subcontractor proposals for compliance, price/cost reasonableness, and technical specifications • Lead negotiations covering subcontract provisions, terms and conditions, price, and schedule requirements • Prepare subcontract awards and modifications • Maintain detailed, well-documented, audit-ready electronic files • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and legal requirements • Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks • Monitor subcontractor performance for compliance with contractual terms

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management, or a related field • 4–6 years of relevant experience in government contracting procurement or subcontracts administration • Strong understanding of procurement processes and government contracting regulations, including FAR and DFARS • Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills • Familiarity with contract management software • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Costpoint • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance • Ability to meet position-specific physical and medical requirements • Compliance with applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements
