📋 Description

• Deliver business intelligence solutions for information delivery and data analytics projects • Analyze, design, and develop business intelligence and analytics solutions in partnership with business teams, architecture, and IT leaders • Create accurate information solutions, reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence components • Develop data assets and information exchanges supporting decision-support applications and analytics solutions • Identify levels of effort and task dependencies • Provide technical guidance on database tables, objects, assets, cubes, dimensional modeling, normal forms, and data marts • Train and mentor business intelligence, analytics, and programming staff • Collaborate on standards and best practices to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability • Research and evaluate business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization technologies • Determine appropriate technologies considering future direction, risk, consistency, and return on investment • Create architecture and design documents for new development efforts • Review incoming projects for technology and capability fit • Design, create, and maintain metadata layers representing physical data structures • Consult, coach, mentor, or independently perform analysis, design, and development of reports, dashboards, and data sources • Communicate with internal and external customers to facilitate analysis and production troubleshooting

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in business intelligence working with business or systems analysis and design concepts • Bachelor's degree in business intelligence, management information systems, mathematics, statistics, analytics, computer and information sciences or similar is required, or an additional three or more years of direct experience in business intelligence, data analytics or statistics in lieu of a bachelor's degree • Ability to write basic queries using standard query languages • Familiarity with business analysis principles and project management methodologies • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies while considering business needs and direction • Familiarity with business intelligence tools/environments • Working knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts, including dimensional and relational data modeling and warehousing strategies • Demonstrable proficiency in overseeing project scope definition and managing small to midsize projects to completion • Must comply with security responsibilities, security controls, and applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal policy requirements
