📋 Description

• Lead and facilitate analytics, decision support, and research functions for the assigned department • Create, analyze, and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and analyses • Extract, prepare, analyze, validate, and present data for standard and ad hoc reporting • Interpret data accuracy and data collection needs and processes, and make recommendations • Develop and implement plans to enhance unit reporting needs and capabilities • Facilitate reporting efforts using SQL and related data query tools • Generate reports and retrieve data from the company's data warehouse and distributed databases • Coordinate application enhancements and edits with IT to promote data quality • Mentor peers and co-workers as appropriate • Lead prioritization and coordination of projects and report development efforts • Coordinate tracking and analysis of audit findings and report generation • Perform additional duties aligned with the intent of the role as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience performing statistical analysis and using statistical packages • Bachelor's degree required, or an additional 3–4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree • Experience in statistics, research, information systems, or health services-related fields, such as Public Health, Health Science, or Psychology, with reporting and analytical emphasis, research evaluation, and/or experimental design • Strong writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills • Strong leadership, process improvement, time management, and project management skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks • Ability to provide accurate work-effort estimates and deliver results within committed time frames • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong expertise in MS Excel • Expertise with relational databases such as MS Access and other database management tools, including MS SQL • Experience with reporting tools such as Actuate, Cognos, Crystal Reports, SAS, or other reporting software • Ability to query the company's data warehouse and/or department systems in response to data requests • Must comply with security responsibilities, security controls, legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal policy requirements
