📋 Description

• Provide personal financial services at assigned military installations • Provide one-on-one financial counseling and consultation to military service members and their families • Consult with commanders, providers, and staff • Conduct briefings, presentations, classes, and seminars • Provide referral resources outside counseling sessions • Work with installation and military branch Points of Contact to ensure the program meets installation needs and remains within scope • Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences • Develop and distribute informational financial materials • Coordinate, publicize, and deliver Personal Financial Management classes and workshops across the military lifecycle • Provide age-appropriate classes or seminars in response to requests • Use virtual counseling and electronic communication methods, including web-based tools, secure online chat, video communications, and secure video teleconference when authorized • Manage duty-to-warn situations according to Department of Defense protocol • Communicate with leadership and participate in individual and group supervision • Share information about trends and issues at assigned installations • Participate in in-services, training, quality improvement committees, and other contract activities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Associate degree plus 4 years' experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree • High school diploma plus 6 years' experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree • 3+ years of financial counseling experience • Must be a U.S. citizen • Fluent English required • Bilingual English and Spanish if required by the contract • Able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation • Must pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process • Must hold one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) • Valid in-state driver's license
