📋 Description

• This role sits within the Data Analytics and Data Engineering team, serving as the cloud infrastructure authority for our enterprise data platform. • Partner closely with data engineers, analytics engineers, and business intelligence teams to ensure the cloud foundation powering our data ecosystem is secure, scalable, and built to last. • Play a critical role in shaping the AWS environment that drives data-informed decision making across the enterprise. • Serve as the primary technical interface to business leaders, senior executives, and product teams — leading design thinking, establishing cloud strategy, and driving cloud transformation across infrastructure, platforms, applications, and data services. • Champion secure-by-design principles, lead vulnerability remediation, and establish engineering best practices that elevate the capabilities of engineering teams across IT. • Mentor, guide, and teach engineers across IT as they solve and navigate complex problems in a changing technology landscape, elevating capabilities through design reviews, knowledge sharing, and hands-on coaching. • Ensure standards and procedures are followed during the design and implementation of cloud and information systems, defining improvements that increase reliability, security, and performance across cloud platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10 years of infrastructure or software engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on cloud technologies, platforms, and transformation across AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Demonstrated experience leading cloud transformation strategy, including migrating enterprise workloads from traditional data center infrastructure to hybrid or fully cloud-enabled architectures. • Hands-on experience with cloud security best practices including least-privilege access, encryption, secrets management, network segmentation, and vulnerability remediation. • Experience with DevOps/SecOps methodologies and integrating security practices throughout the software development and infrastructure lifecycle. • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach engineers, elevating team capabilities across a broad IT organization. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to and influence senior executives and business leaders. • Critical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
