📋 Description

• Handle basic and complex Tier 2 support issues and escalation calls/tickets from Tier 1 • Respond to support tickets received via phone, email, and customer portal • Troubleshoot servers, network devices, PCs, and cloud systems • Collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues • Provide solutions for Tier 1 escalations and assist Tier 1 with alerts and tickets • Take ownership of tickets and customer interactions through resolution • Document resolutions and update procedures • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Tier 3 • Report critical incidents and problems requiring further resolution • Work closely with staff under the End User Support Manager’s direction • Assist Operations Center staff with special projects and other duties

🎯 Requirements

• Must be located in the New York Metro Area • Associate degree preferred; relevant and significant industry experience may substitute for the education requirement • Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware certifications required • Minimum of 12 months’ experience administering or supporting LAN/WAN environments, Office365 and Azure, Network Operations Center, help desk, or relevant customer service • Experience with PSA and RMM tools • Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Active Directory knowledge • Microsoft Office Suite and Office365 experience • Fundamental understanding of DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP • Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server knowledge • VMware vSphere 6.5 or above knowledge • Knowledge of backup technologies • Knowledge of security practices and policies • Flexibility to work all shifts, including some holidays and weekends • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, and VMware certifications required, including CCNA, Microsoft Intermediate Certificates, Security+, and Fortinet NSE7
