📋 Description

• Implement, configure, and operate security controls safeguarding networks, infrastructure, cloud, applications, and integration services • Design, deploy, and maintain secure-default controls across network, infrastructure, hybrid cloud, application delivery, and integration services • Apply zero trust access models based on identity, device state, and request context when onboarding new and acquired environments • Build and maintain policies, infrastructure modules, and automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or equivalent tools • Configure and operate telemetry for asset and configuration visibility, access monitoring, and exposure management • Ensure newly integrated environments achieve security visibility and support detection and remediation • Implement compensating controls and remediate security findings • Manage high volumes of findings using fleet-wide tools and migrate legacy and acquired systems to standardized builds • Provide evidence for validation and closure of findings • Supply GRC with environment data including asset criticality, data classification, exposure state, and dependency mapping • Automate risk scoring to maintain current and consistent risk information • Execute repeatable onboarding, migration, and decommissioning processes for acquired firms • Report to the VP of Security Engineering & Architecture • Collaborate with senior engineers, infrastructure teams, and Governance, Risk & Compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience • 4–8 years of hands-on experience in security engineering, systems/network engineering with a security focus, or a similar technical area • Experience implementing and operating security controls in hybrid cloud environments, including AWS and/or Azure • Experience with identity and access management, including Okta, Entra ID, MFA, and privileged access • Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or equivalent automation and scripting tools • Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, or policy-as-code toolchains • Working knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and defense-in-depth • Vulnerability management and remediation experience, including CVSS, EPSS, and CISA KEV • Ability to prioritize findings and implement fixes or compensating controls • Strong collaboration across engineering, infrastructure, and GRC • Security certifications are preferred: Security+, SSCP, AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft SC-200/AZ-500, or progress toward CISSP • Regulated-industry and audit/examination experience is preferred; financial-industry background and Reg S-P familiarity are a plus • Experience supporting high-volume acquisition integration is preferred • Exposure to securing AI or agentic systems is preferred • Demonstrated ability to deliver security capabilities through automation over manual processes is preferred
