📋 Description

• Oversee daily rail operations at industrial facilities • Oversee and support in-plant railcar switching, track maintenance, transloading, and equipment management • Ensure a safe work environment by training employees on safety protocols and operational procedures • Foster a culture of safety and compliance while maintaining certifications and safety standards • Lead, coach, and develop team members, identifying high performers for advancement • Manage scheduling to ensure proper staffing and skill coverage across shifts • Coordinate daily operations to meet customer expectations and contract requirements • Oversee cost management including payroll, fuel, and equipment expenses • Maintain and support preventive maintenance programs in coordination with mechanical teams • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and service delivery • Perform administrative duties including timekeeping, reporting, and performance evaluations • Supervise employees in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations • Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficient operations

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred • 1+ year of supervisory experience in rail operations, logistics, or a related field • Strong leadership and team development skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) • Ability to interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and technical documents • Basic math skills including ratios, percentages, and data interpretation • Ability to solve problems and make sound operational decisions • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check • Military experience is a plus
