📋 Description

• Support current Technical Content Specialists with knowledge management functions • Collaborate with IT to maintain Customer Support Knowledge Database user access • Audit the IT user database regularly and maintain license audits • Curate, create, and manage technical knowledge content, including manuals, reports, policies, and procedures • Review internal processes, identify improvement opportunities and emerging trends, and recommend workflow and SOP improvements • Review, improve, and republish knowledge articles according to user needs and the yearly audit plan • Facilitate documentation updates with technical subject matter experts, leadership, and Associates • Provide administrative and analytical support for new product, software, and process launches • Develop and implement continuous-improvement strategies for Knowledge Application Areas • Create and maintain databases and spreadsheets for content, workflows, and knowledge-base projects • Create, run, and maintain analytical content and usage reports • Organize and update new-hire materials and support new-hire training • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments and users • Adhere to and evolve change-management principles and processes in Knowledge Management • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a veterinary technician preferred • Minimum 2 years of experience as a trainer or technical writer preferred • Minimum 2 years managing a Content Management System (CMS) or Knowledge Management System preferred • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • Ability to perform self-directed work in an organized, accountable manner • Ability to collaborate effectively with the team Manager and Leadership • Passion for supporting a customer-centric team • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and active listening skills • High attention to detail and ability to convey and teach technical information concisely • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations • Calm demeanor, empathy, professionalism, and strong customer and Associate focus • Ability to analyze patterns and identify areas for improvement • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Ability to create targeted knowledge-base articles for multiple audiences • Understanding of accurately structured, searchable content and its impact on Associate self-service • Travel requirements could be up to 5% of the time • Ability to use computers, spreadsheets, database management, email, video conferencing, Internet, calculators, fax, copy machines, phone systems, overhead projectors, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
